About the Nursery Manager Role
As a Nursery Manager, you will:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the nursery team
- Ensure safeguarding policies are implemented and understood by all staff
- Oversee curriculum planning and delivery within the EYFS framework
- Manage staff development, administration, and compliance with Ofsted standards
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and nominated person for Ofsted
- Build strong relationships with families and external agencies
- Promote the nursery through marketing, newsletters, and social media
What We're Looking For in a Nursery Manager
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5/6 desirable)
- At least 2 years' leadership experience in an Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
