Role Overview:

The Nursery Practitioner will assume a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of student's educational journeys. Operating within the vibrant and dynamic Early Years department, the Nursery Practitioner will collaborate with a team of experienced educators to deliver the highest quality care and education to nursery-aged children.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere conducive to children's learning, exploration, and development.
  • Developing and executing age-appropriate learning activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Nurturing positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and partnership.
  • Monitoring and assessing children's progress, delivering regular feedback and support.
  • Maintaining a secure and inclusive environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Contributing to the planning and organisation of school events, outings, and celebrations.
  • Actively engaging in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early years education.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possession of a minimum Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in working with nursery-aged children within an educational context.
  • Profound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A strong passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing children's development.
  • Capability to work harmoniously within a collaborative team.
