Nursery Practitioner


An exciting opportunity awaits passionate individuals who enjoy working with young children and contributing to their early development. A reputable Primary School and Early Years located in Hackney are seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

  • Salary | £400+ PER WEEK
  • Immediate Start | Full Time |
  • 10 minute walk from Highbury & Islington

Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities:

* Provide support to the nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 2-4 years.

* Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

* Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to explore and learn.

* Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and maintaining hygiene.

* Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and reporting to senior staff and parents as required.

Nursery Practitioner Requirements:

* Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting.

* Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its application.

* Patient, nurturing, and compassionate nature, coupled with a genuine love for working with young children.

* Desirable but not essential: Relevant childcare qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Childcare Certificate.

* Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
