Position Overview: As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of children in our nursery. Working closely with the nursery team, you will provide a safe and engaging environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities: As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of a diverse range of activities to promote children's physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
  • Assisting with the provision of a safe and stimulating environment, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Building positive relationships with children, promoting their well-being and creating a warm and nurturing atmosphere.
  • Observing and assessing children's progress, providing feedback to the nursery team and parents/carers.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support children's individual needs and communicate their progress.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Relevant experience working with young children, preferably within a nursery or early years setting.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their learning and development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
