Nursery Practitioner - EYFS & SEN (ASD) - Deptford - ASAP Start
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Deptford is seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP. This Nursery Practitioner role is based in a Reception class and involves supporting children with ASD and additional SEN needs.
The school is looking for a confident Nursery Practitioner who is comfortable taking responsibility within the classroom. On Mondays, the Nursery Practitioner will be required to cover the class, delivering pre-set and planned lessons. All materials will be provided, and the Nursery Practitioner will focus on delivery, engagement, and maintaining routines.
Key responsibilities for this Nursery Practitioner role include:
Supporting children across EYFS as a Nursery Practitioner
Working closely with pupils with ASD and SEN
Delivering pre-planned lessons when covering the class on Mondays
Maintaining a structured, calm, and engaging environment
Collaborating with teachers and the SEN team as a Nursery Practitioner
Requirements:
EYFS experience is essential for this Nursery Practitioner role
Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years TA
SEN experience, particularly ASD
Confidence and professionalism when covering the class
