The Role
The successful Nursery Teacher will take full responsibility for a Nursery class, delivering a rich and engaging EYFS curriculum that supports all areas of early development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences
- Supporting early communication, language and social development
- Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Observing, assessing and tracking pupil progress
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Working closely with Early Years support staff and the EYFS lead
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Nursery Teacher who:
- Holds QTS and has recent EYFS teaching experience
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Is confident delivering a play-based, child-centred curriculum
- Demonstrates excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
Experience in a Nursery setting is highly desirable.
