Our client, an independent secondary school supporting students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is seeking a committed Temporary Office Manager to support the school during the final half term of the academic year.

Office Manager Role
This is a key role within the school's administration team, covering the current post holder's absence. As Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school office and providing high-level administrative support to the Headteacher and leadership team.
Office Manager Key Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth and effective running of all office functions
Manage communication with families, staff, and external stakeholders
Maintain accurate records of students and staff
Support HR and compliance tasks, including safeguarding documentation
Coordinate diaries, meetings, and school correspondence
Act as a professional and welcoming point of contact for all visitors to the school
Office Manager Person Specification
Previous experience as an office manager or senior administrator, ideally within a school
Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
A professional and personable approach to communication
Understanding of SEN environments and the importance of safeguarding
Reliable, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running
