The school is an 11 - 16 mixed, comprehensive, secondary of about 850 students, situated on the north Croydon/Mitcham border. Responsibilities - PE Teacher - Secondary School - Croydon - May 2023

The PE Techer will be required:

  • To plan, develop and deliver high quality lessons and courses within the broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated subject curriculum using a variety of approaches, to continually enhance teaching and learning.
  • To monitor student progress, keeping student records that include assessment outcomes and targets set at regular intervals in line with Academy policy, to enable all students to achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and care of children and young people.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Qualified PE Teacher with experience of KS3 & KS4
  • An excellent classroom practitioner with understanding of high-quality teaching and learning
    * Able to create and lead subject development and be experienced in supporting other staff to enhance teaching and learning
