A PE Teacher is needed in an 'Good' mixed Secondary School in South London.
Female PE Teacher applicants will be preferred but Male PE Teachers are still welcome to apply.
The school are looking for a PE Teacher to teach KS3 to KS4.
The ability to teach to KS5 will be advantageous but is not essential for this PE Teacher post.
Standard class teacher responsibilities will be attached to this PE Teacher role. This includes but isn't limited to planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending team meetings.
If appointed as a PE Teacher, you will have access to a wide variety of resources and facilities. The department is made up of a great team that is always happy to help each other out too.
The salaries for this PE Teacher position will range from £32407 to £48055 a year, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.
The School
A mixed school for boys and girls aged 11 - 19.
There is a thriving 6th Form, as well as two sites.
The school is considered an Art & Enterprise Specialist, with the approach of making pupils Art orientated.
There is a strong focus on preparing pupils for employment in the 21st Century as well.
The school benefits from excellent facilities; 12 laboratories, an ICT suite and a talented team of technicians.
Strong STEM links and a growing interest in promoting Maths-based careers also form key elements to the school's ethos/reputation.
Requirements
You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified PE Teacher or overseas trained PE Teacher.
You are also welcome to apply if you are a British trained PE Teacher or overseas trained PE Teacher.
All applicants must have the following as a must in order to be considered for this position as a PE Teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Experience of teaching as a PE Teacher in UK schools
