Physics Teacher

A Physics Teacher is needed in a mixed C of E Secondary School in South East London.

ECT/NQT can be supported if you recently qualified and a Lead Physics Teacher post can be offered if you are an experienced Physics Teacher.

This Physics Teacher post will be full time and permanent.

You will be required to teach Science from KS3 to KS4, as well as Physics to KS5. However, the majority of teaching will be for A Level Physics classes.

The school is seeking a Physics Teacher with strong behaviour management, excellent social skills and the ability to multi task effectively.

Standard class teacher responsibilities apply to this Physics Teacher role. These include but aren't limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending team meetings.

The rates of pay for this Physics Teacher position will be between £130 to £260 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A 'Good' coeducational all-through Church of England school with a Sixth Form, located over 2 sites.

GCSEs, BTECs and A Levels are all taught in line with the National Curriculum for England.

A diverse range of extracurricular clubs are available to all pupils. These include Choir, Anime & Manga and Pottery workshops. A variety of MFL, Music and Sports based activities are also provided.

This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Physics Teacher or experienced Physics Teacher.

  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
