Physics Teacher

A lovely all girls school in East London is seeking a Physics Teacher for an immediate start.

This Physics Teacher position will be part time, Mondays and Tuesdays.

Working hours for this Physics Teacher post will be 08:30am to 03:20pm.

If appointed as a Physics Teacher, you will be required to teach Year 7 to Year 11 pupils.

Planning and assessment will be required, potentially mock exam assessments too.

The salary for this Physics Teacher position will be £29915 to £45766 (Pro Rata), depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

OFSTED rated the school 'Good' upon its last inspection and the school continues to excel in all areas. Pupils are encouraged to achieve academically and look forward to learning.

As an institution, the school is considered a state funded independent academy for girls aged 11 - 16.

Working with feeder Primary Schools in the borough, some staff also develop the teaching of French for younger pupils too.

All pupils learn two languages for their first three years at the school and over 25% of pupils then take on two languages for their GCSEs. In addition to French, German and Spanish, the school also has Urdu classes during lunchtimes, as well as an after school club.

Extracurricular provisions are excellent, with educational trips to Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Turkey and Portugal.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're a newly qualified Physics Teacher or experienced Physics Teacher.

You can also apply if you're a British trained Physics Teacher or overseas trained Physics Teacher.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of teaching as a Physics Teacher in the UK
