PPA Teacher - When schools re-open

REESON Education are recruiting for a qualified PPA teacher to undertake a long term term contract (in the first instance) starting when schools re-open. This role will be long term supply via our agency and there will be a high likelihood the right candidate will be asked to return to school for a further year's contract in September 2021.
The role will be working in an OFSTED "Good" 2 form entry Primary School located a short walk away from Stonebridge Park station, offering excellent transport links across NW and W London boroughs.
As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons to small groups of KS1 and KS2 pupils, with a specific focus on Years 2 and 6. You will be expected to monitor and track the progress of each pupil within the group and liaise regularly with teachers, SLT and carers to formulate plans of action to drive improvement.
The ability to work well within a team will be essential to the role as well as being able to form a good rapport with colleagues and parents. You will be working closely at all times with the class teachers to ensure pupils meet and exceed expectations in each lesson. You must be confident with behaviour management and be able to adapt lesson plans to suit the needs of different students of varying abilities.
As a PPA Teacher you need to be flexible, proactive and have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum across KS1 and 2. You must also be able to provide contact details for 2 Education based referees, and have ideally a minimum of 1 year's UK teaching experience, ideally within SATS year groups (though not essential).
