About the Role
A well-led and inclusive Tower Hamlets primary school near Stepney Green Station is seeking a confident Primary Class Teacher to take on a Year 5 class from February. The school has strong behaviour systems, an established upper KS2 team, and a clear curriculum framework in place.
As the Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for full classroom teaching duties, including planning, assessment, and maintaining high expectations for progress and behaviour. The class is settled and motivated, with a Teaching Assistant supporting during core lessons.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is keen to appoint a Primary Class Teacher who:
Has recent KS2 teaching experience
Demonstrates strong behaviour management
Plans engaging, well-structured lessons
Uses assessment effectively to drive progress
Works collaboratively within a year-group team
Holds QTS and an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply)
