Reeson Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Primary School Teacher to work as a Year 6 Class Teacher in mainstream primary school located in Croydon, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will join a team of committed and passionate educators who are dedicated to providing a stimulating and engaging learning environment for the students.
Primary School Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons for Year 6 students, covering all aspects of the primary curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and encourages independent learning.
- Assess and track student progress, and provide regular feedback to parents and carers through reports and parent-teacher conferences.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to ensure that students receive a well-rounded education.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, including field trips, sports days, and performances.
Primary School Teacher Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Year 6 students and a thorough understanding of the primary curriculum including SATS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons and manage student behaviour.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for teaching.
