An outstanding Independent primary school located in Putney is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Reception Primary School Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September.
The successful Primary School Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons to children aged 4-5 years, using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The role involves tracking and monitoring children's progress, working closely with parents to ensure effective communication, and contributing to the wider life of the school.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working as a Reception Teacher in a primary school setting, with a good understanding of the EYFS framework and a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to young children. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Primary School Teacher (Reception) Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Reception Teacher in a primary school setting
- A relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent, with a specific focus on Early Years Education
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the ability to use this knowledge to plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to take direction from the Head of Early Years and other senior staff members
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and implement new teaching strategies and techniques as required.
