Primary School Teacher (Key Stage 2)

Primary School Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Key Stage 2 students, ensuring the effective implementation of the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a love for learning and supporting the holistic development of each student.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support to promote their academic and personal growth.
- Embrace the ethos and values of the school, promoting respect, compassion, and moral values within the classroom and wider school community.
- Contribute to the collective development of the school's curriculum, sharing expertise and leading specific subjects as required.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and relevant stakeholders, maintaining strong partnerships to support student achievement.
Primary School Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, preferably within a primary school setting.
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum, with the ability to design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with its requirements.
- Strong classroom management skills, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success.
- Ability to effectively assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing targeted support and intervention when necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of students.
- Familiarity with the Inner London teacher payscale and understanding of the associated salary structure.
