Are you a dynamic and experienced Nursery Teacher ready to inspire young learners in an independent school setting? Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning & Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons of excellent quality, ensuring high standards of English in English lessons and incorporating innovative teaching methods.
  • Collaborative Approach: Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the same year group and as part of the larger French department, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared best practices.
  • Creative Lesson Planning: Bring a creative and innovative approach to the planning of lessons and teaching sequences, utilising a variety of resources and strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Promotion of Well-being: Actively promote pupils' well-being, creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, respected, and safe.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the curriculum, ensuring lessons are aligned with curriculum objectives and standards.
  • Professional Development: Attend INSET days and engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and pedagogy.
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain open communication channels with the Heads, reporting any problems or concerns promptly, and attending meetings with parents to provide feedback on pupil progress.
  • Discipline & Safeguarding: Maintain order and discipline among pupils, safeguarding their health and safety at all times.
