REESON Education are recruiting on behalf of a successful community Primary school located in the London Borough of Enfield. The school are looking for a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to join the team on an initial fixed term contract commencing ASAP until the end of the year in July.
The school are an OFSTED 'Good' 3 form entry, who cater for a diverse local community. Standards of achievement in English, Maths and Science are often above the National Average across the phases, and the leadership team are incredibly proud of the school's positive ethos.
There are quite a high proportion of students at school who have Special Educational Needs, and as such, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role. Behaviour can sometimes be challenging, and therefore a calm, but firm manner will be essential. The ability to liaise with parents, carers and class teachers to coordinate support plans for students will also be an integral part of the role.
The school are able to potentially offer a permanent contract in September 2021 to the right candidate, who demonstrates a genuine passion for the role and the values of the School.
