Your new school
This school is a large Primary school situated in Lewisham. It educates over 400 pupils from 3 to 11 years. The school prides itself on having a strong relationship with parents along with providing a happy, safe and inquisitive environment which encourages the pupils to reach their full potential.
Your new role:
Starting in April 2021, this role is a full-time position based in a year 1 class teaching 5 days (Monday - Friday) until the end of the academic year. Your role will consist of lesson planning, marking, and taking an active role in parent's evenings. You will also have assistance from a fully qualified TA.
What you'll need to succeed:
You will need to be a qualified teacher to apply for this Primary Teacher position. You will also need previous experience of teaching Foundation phase as well as having a passion for learning and helping pupils achieve a positive result. You will share a commitment to safeguarding and hold DBS check or be willing to undertake one.
