There is an exciting opportunity in a forward-thinking Primary school based in Brent, North West London for a Year 6 teacher to join their team from September onwards. The role is full-time and the successful candidate will be employed on a long-term basis covering maternity initially but there is scope for a permanent position to arise for the correct person. The school is three-form entry and offers ample opportunity for professional development. This vacancy is open to a teacher with experience or an NQT.

For this role, the Year 6 teacher must be confident in their delivery and knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and be enthusiastic in their lessons. There is the opportunity for the teacher to lead a subject at this school, therefore previous experience in a similar role is highly welcomed. The school is commended for achieving academic excellence and the teacher appointed will use their expertise to reach and exceed results previously achieved. The Year 6 Teacher will be expected to plan lessons that are engaging, tailored and most importantly adheres to the expectations of the KS2 curriculum. You will be expected to inspire the children alongside managing their behaviour in and out of the classroom.
