About the Role
A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Whitechapel is seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team from September.
This Tower Hamlets school serves a diverse and ambitious community and places strong emphasis on early literacy, phonics development, and building solid foundations for lifelong learning. The successful teacher will join a collaborative KS1 team with shared planning structures and clear curriculum progression.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-structured KS1 lessons
Ensure strong phonics teaching and early reading development
Create a safe, positive and stimulating classroom environment
Track and monitor pupil progress effectively
Maintain high standards of behaviour and presentation
Work closely with parallel teachers and support staff
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a KS1 Primary Teacher who:
Holds QTS and has recent UK primary experience
Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
Is confident teaching phonics and early writing
Demonstrates excellent classroom management
Is committed to raising attainment in an urban setting
Both experienced teachers and strong ECTs will be considered.
