The Role
A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team in September on a one-year fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school with a strong community ethos. The year group allocation will be based on experience and strengths, with flexibility across KS1 or KS2.
The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, maintaining strong classroom management, and ensuring pupils make measurable progress across the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive and purposeful classroom environment
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
Holds QTS and has recent UK primary teaching experience
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge in Maths and English
Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Is reflective and committed to professional development
Works collaboratively within a year group team
Both experienced teachers and strong ECTs are encouraged to apply.
