Primary Teacher

Location: M20, Manchester
Start Date: January
Salary: Competitive daily rate (DOE)
Hours: Monday-Friday, Full-Time

Reeson Education is seeking a strong, experienced Primary Teacher to take on a Year 5 class in a welcoming and well-established primary school in the M20 area. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity starting in January for a confident Primary Teacher with excellent classroom practice and upper KS2 experience.

The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to take full responsibility for planning, teaching, assessment and behaviour management, delivering engaging and structured lessons that drive progress and maintain high expectations. This role would suit a Primary Teacher who is resilient, organised and able to hit the ground running.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be supported by a strong leadership team and a positive staff culture that values consistency, professionalism and pupil progress. The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who can bring stability and strong teaching to the class for the duration of the role.

Primary Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 5 class as a Primary Teacher
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom routines
  • Track progress and support pupils to meet their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and leadership
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff as a Primary Teacher
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

Primary Teacher - Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working as a Primary Teacher in KS2
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
  • Confident teaching Year 5 curriculum content
  • Dedicated, professional and reliable Primary Teacher
  • Ability to commit to a long-term, full-time role
