Reeson Education is recruiting for a passionate and resilient Primary Teacher to join a brilliant SEN school in the M30 postcode this September. This is a full-time, long-term Primary Teacher position with the potential to go permanent for the right person.
This specialist provision supports pupils aged KS2 to KS4 with a wide range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, ASD, SEMH, and trauma. The school is looking for a Primary Teacher with the creativity, patience, and dedication to meet learners where they are and help them thrive.
As a Primary Teacher, you will work primarily with KS2 and KS3 pupils, adapting lessons to meet individual EHCPs and ensuring a structured, nurturing learning environment. Pupils vary in ability - some may be working below expected levels, while others will have significant additional needs requiring a highly differentiated approach.
The school environment is warm, inclusive, and well-resourced - you'll be working alongside experienced LSAs, therapists, and senior leaders who truly care about the impact of their work.
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to small groups
- Tailor teaching to pupils with EHCPs and diverse SEN profiles
- Work collaboratively with TAs and specialists to meet pupil needs
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Foster independence, communication, and social-emotional growth
- Create a calm, nurturing, consistent classroom environment
- Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and assessments
- Be a consistent, dependable presence for vulnerable learners
- Commit to long-term positive impact as a Primary Teacher
- Support the wider school ethos and contribute to its growth
We're looking for a Primary Teacher who:
- Is Primary-trained and passionate about inclusive education
- Has experience (or strong interest) in SEN and complex needs
- Brings adaptability, creativity, and resilience to the role
- Can confidently manage behaviour and engage reluctant learners
- Is open to training and learning more about therapeutic approaches
- Wants to build lasting relationships and make a real difference
This is a wonderful opportunity for a committed Primary Teacher to be part of a school that genuinely transforms lives. If you're a Primary Teacher ready to take your skills into a specialist setting and help pupils achieve in ways that matter, we'd love to hear from you.
