Qualified Biology Teacher
A position for Qualified Biology Teacher has become available at an excellent school in Tooting. The post is suitable for both NQTs and experienced candidates.
The school is looking to appoint for an immediate start on a full-time basis. The post is for one academic year.
Applicants will be teaching KS3 Science and KS4 Biology at all abilities including Separate Science Biology.
The salary for this Qualified Biology Teacher position will range from £29664 to £48244 depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.

Progress 8 score of +0.52 - this means students are achieving half a grade higher than similar students nationally in every examination.

The A*-C rate of 84% represents a fantastic achievement. Within this headline figure is the A*-A rate of 30% and the A*-B rate of 58% with a total of thirty-eight students (over 12% of the cohort) achieving A or A* in at least three subjects.
Requirements
Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career including NQT's as well both British trained and overseas trained Qualified Biology Teachers.
However, only applicants with a UK address, preferably in London, will be shortlisted, as the school is looking for the right candidate to start immediately.
As a minimum requirement, all applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position:
- UK QTS or Overseas Secondary School equivalent
- Experience of teaching Biology in accordance with the National Curriculum
- Right to work in the UK
