Job Title: KS1 Teacher

This Exceptional thriving primary school located in Merton are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic KS1 Teacher to join the team from September 2023. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge our students.
As a KS1 Teacher, you will have a passion for education and a commitment to helping your students achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons that meet the needs of all your students, monitoring their progress, and providing feedback to parents and other members of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering effective and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all your students
- Using a range of teaching strategies and resources to support your students' learning and development
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, and providing feedback to parents and other members of staff
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Promoting positive behaviour and using effective behaviour management strategies
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and other members of staff
- Participating in school events and activities as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping your students achieve their full potential
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- An understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
