Science Teacher

If you hold QTS, have experience of teaching Science according to the UK Curriculum, particularly Key Stages 3 to 4 and are currently seeking an opportunity to progress as a Science Teacher, this is the role for you.

A full-time permanent position for a Science Teacher has become available at a specialist Science school in East London.

This Science Teacher post is suitable for both NQTs and experienced candidates. The school is seeking to appoint for January 2020.

This will be a full-time permanent position as a Science Teacher, teaching in line with the UK National Curriculum.

Applicants for this Science Teacher position must have experience of teaching General Science.

The salary for this Science Teacher position will range from £28355 to £44541, depending on the qualifications and experience of each candidate.

School Information

The school is rated 'Good' across all areas by Ofsted and continues to improve.

It is a mixed Secondary School with provisions on site for 6th Form and College pupils too. There is a particular focus on Science when it comes to Post 16 education. Drama, Music, Art and DT are an important part of the curriculum too.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from Science Teachers at any stage in their career including NQT's as well both British trained and overseas trained Science Teachers.

  • UK QTS or an overseas teaching qualification
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience and knowledge of teaching as a Science Teacher in the UK
  • Willingness and capacity to teach Science from KS3 to KS4
