An excellent opportunity is available for either an NQT or experienced Science teacher to teach Science from year 7-11 in a very reputable mixed secondary school located in Dagenham, East London.
The science teaching position has arisen due to a retirement and will be offered to the successful science teacher on a long term supply basis from March.
The school has over 1,250 students on the roll with 250 in a successful 6th form where all Science disciplines are taught and are very popular. The school has excellent resources and the Science department can boast state of the art facilities.
The ideal science teacher will be joining a science department of 9 including experienced support staff and technicians. The science team is excellent and has a very good reputation within the school for stability and results. The ideal science teacher's timetable will consist mainly of teaching General Science from year 7-11. However, there is the opportunity to teach AS and A2 chemistry, biology or physics for a teacher with suitable experience.
The school prides itself on behaviour and attainment and in 2019 the OFSTED inspection graded the school as "outstanding".
