Science Teacher

A Science Teacher is needed at coeducational Independent School in South West London.

This Science Teacher role will be part time (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).

The school is ideally looking for a Science Teacher that can commit to a permanent contract.

Teaching for this Science Teacher role will be for KS3 and KS4.

The ability to deliver high quality Spanish lessons, keep pupils focused and work cohesively with a team will be key criteria in order to be considered for this Science Teacher post.

The rates of pay for this Science Teacher position will be between £150 and £230 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

Founded by a teacher in 1982, the goal of the school remains to nurture and educate children in small class sizes.

This was done with the idea that a smaller school would allow children to be more involved in their own progress, as well as the community, by keeping them motivated and happy.

Facilities at the school include but aren't limited to; a dedicated Science Laboratory, an Art Studio equipped with a pottery area/kiln and sports grounds for athletics, cricket, netball, softball, swimming and water sports.

SEN support is a big part of the school's set up. They have proven track record of helping a range of pupils to achieve their GCSEs, BTECs and A Levels.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Science Teacher or experienced Science Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Science Teacher or overseas trained Science Teacher.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of working as a Science Teacher in UK schools
