A Science Teacher is needed in an all-boys Secondary school in South West London.

This Science Teacher position will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 Science, as well as KS5 Physics.

The successful applicant with be employed as a full time, permanent Science Teacher.

As such, if appointed as a Science Teacher, you will be required to take on standard class teacher responsibilities. This includes but isn't limited to taking on a Tutor Group, planning/assessing all lessons and attending team meetings/parents evenings.

In addition to this, the school is keen to take on a Science Teacher that can work as part of team, manage behaviour effectively when need be and bring a positive energy to every lesson.

The rates of pay for this Science Teacher role will be dependent on experience and qualifications, ranging from £150 to £250.

The School

This is a 'Good' all-boys school that has rich and extensive tradition when it comes to Sport and STEM.

Many professional sportsmen have studied at the school.

There is a Gifted and Talented programme at the school which provides support to the top 5 - 10% of pupils in each year group.

Each department organises trips and runs extracurricular activities to establish an environment of inclusion.

In addition to this, the school has received several awards such as Healthy Schools, Education Business Partnership, FA Charter Standard and Sport England.

  • UK QTS or equivalent
