Science Teacher

A Science Teacher is needed at a mixed Secondary School in South West London.

You will need to teach KS3 and KS4 for this Science Teacher post. Applicants with a KS5 specialism can potentially be offered A Level lessons.

The school can offer a part time or full time work pattern for this Science Teacher role.

Standard class teacher responsibilities apply for this Science Teacher position. This includes but isn't limited to planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending regular team meetings/parents evenings.

The rates of pay for this Science Teacher role will be between £120 to £250 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

The School

The school opened in September 2018 and have yet to be fully inspected by Ofsted. The pre-opening Ofsted report has found that the school currently meets all the criteria of a well-run school.

As of September 2023, the school will be opening a brand new Sixth Form.

Despite being in its infancy, the schools staff endeavour to set high standards for their pupils, to ensure they continue develop their attainment and personal character. This is to prepare them for life after education, whether they choose to go straight in to work or pursue further education.

Requirements

You are welcome to apply if you are a newly qualified Science Teacher or experienced Science Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Science Teacher or overseas trained Science Teacher.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date DBS
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience of teaching as a Science Teacher in UK schools
