Science Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join our team and help shape the futures of our students through inspiring and dynamic teaching.

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in secondary Science, including GCSE and A-Level content.

  • Develop a curriculum that sparks curiosity, creativity, and academic excellence.

  • Promote a classroom culture rooted in care, structure, and high expectations.

  • Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support student progress and wellbeing.

Science Teacher Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that cater to individual learning needs.

  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages student engagement.

  • Monitor student progress through regular assessment and feedback.

  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives, enrichment activities, and trips.

  • Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students in line with school policies.

  • Act as a form tutor and liaise with families, SENCO, and the multidisciplinary team.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in a relevant subject

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Eligible to teach and work in the UK

  • Demonstrated success raising attainment in a secondary setting

  • Experience working with students with diverse needs is desirable

  • Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation

  • Resilience, flexibility, and a positive attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
