JOB DESCRIPTION

Science Technician to work in fantastic Secondary School based in South East London. The post is to start ASAP and will be on a full time basis. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Science and preferable a Science background. Having secondary school science Technician experience is highly desirable.The school is keen to look over CVs ASAP with a view to meeting candidates over the next couple of weeks

JOB PURPOSE

To undertake, duties in support of the work of the teaching staff in the science department.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a.) The preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons.

b.) Maintaining science laboratories and preparation rooms and their equipment, and services in good order.

c.) General duties in support of the teachers in the Science Department

The successful applicant must:
* Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Be able to demonstrate a passion for and hands on approach to Science.
* Work with diligence and accuracy.
* Be confident to work independently and multi-task
* Be willing to undertake training.
