The provision in West Drayton is seeking a confident and adaptable SEMH Outreach Teacher who can deliver short-term, structured education in the community, at home, or within agreed safe learning environments. • Support engagement, routine, and emotional regulation

  • Liaise with schools, PRU staff, and local authority teams

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, engagement, and progress

The setting in West Drayton supports pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs who benefit from consistent outreach support before entering full-time alternative provision. As an SEMH Outreach Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining educational continuity, reducing risk of disengagement, and supporting successful transitions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or strong teaching/tutoring background

  • Experience working as an SEMH Outreach Teacher, PRU teacher, or alternative provision teacher

  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage outreach schedules
