The Role - SEMH Teacher

This school are looking for an SEMH Teacher to start on a full time contract starting January. You must be a fully qualified teacher that holds QTS or QTLS or OTT and has experience teaching in an alternative provision or SEN school. You will be required to teach a class of 6 pupils, aged 11- 16 years, all who have SEMH needs and some students are also on the Autistic Spectrum. The Class has two full-time TA's who will be a great support and the use of a spacious classroom and private outside area.

The School - SEMH School

Found in the borough of Islington in Central London with excellent transport links, this SEMH school has two sites and caters for students between the ages of 5 -16 years. They currently have 189 students on role and provide a therapeutic way of learning that aims to maximise impact on pupils' social, emotional, behavioural and learning outcomes. The Secondary site is hugely successful and headed up by a passionate and inspiring Head Teacher and supportive SLT.
