Music Teacher
We are currently seeking an SEN Music Teacher to work within an Ofsted outstanding SEN client schools in North West London, to start immediately. We are looking for committed SEN Teacher to work part time (3 days a week), in a long-term role. The successful teacher will be working amongst Key Stage 3 & 4.
This special school works with children of complex special needs such as ASC, Profound Multiple learning difficulties, SLD, ADHD etc. We are currently searching for a Music Teacher. This position will be working with children in small classes. We are looking for someone who is highly engaging and has strong understanding of being able to understand the needs of a child. Additionally, prior experience working with PECS or Makaton would be at a great advantage however this is not essential.
This school doesn't follow the national curriculum and are likely to focus on the individual needs of each of the students, in order for each child to benefit from their education as much as possible. They all have personal goals and are constantly encouraged to push themselves and given tasks to stimulate their activity. This school have state of the art facilities and resources, such as a hydrotherapy pool, hoists and physiotherapists on site.
