This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, starting from September 2020. This school specialises in educating students with complex needs and therefore it would be beneficial for the successful SEN TA needs to have previous experience working with PMLD and SLD. This specific role will be working as a Teaching Assistant for small groups and potentially 1:1. It is also worth bearing in mind that the successful SEN TA will need to be happy to provide personal care and manual handling, if needed.

They can support pupils with various complex needs. It is the school's priority to make sure each student has an individual focus, that is not only enjoyable but age appropriate. This school has fantastic amenities for members of staff and are able to provide their employees with personal and professional development.

The Headteacher is incredibly successful and is highly valued by all members of staff. They are looking for someone who is confident, driven, eager to learn, flexible and can take initiative. As this vacancy is a September start, it is key for any new member of staff that joins the school that a smooth transition takes place, in order to create minimal disruption for the students and staff when returning back to school after the Summer holidays.
