I am urgently seeking an SEN TA to work within a school that specialises with ASC, SLD and other complex special needs. We require tech savvy teaching assistant who is available immediately or at the end of the November. We are looking for someone who ideally has prior experience; however, this is not essential.
This is a full time, long term position and therefore we are looking for a committed and hard-working individual. In the first instance, you will be working on a 1:1 basis supporting a child within Key Stage 4 via online learning. Later down the line the TA will be required to make home visits, this has been put on hold due to the current circumstances. When the successful candidate is not supporting the child via online learning, you will be supporting the Secondary department. These pupils have varying needs such as Autism and Down Syndrome most of these students are verbal. This Ofsted Outstanding school works with children between the ages of 11 - 19 and have approximately 170 students. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an Ofsted Outstanding special needs school which are ran by a fantastic Headteacher.
As this position is based in a special school, it is essential that the successful candidate makes a smooth transition to integrate into the school, so as little disruption is made as possible for staff and pupils.
