Do you have experience as a learning support assistant, focusing on special educational needs?
A Merton based Primary School is currently looking to recruit a full time Learning Support Assistant (LSA/ SEN TA) to support pupils with special educational needs within a KS1 setting.
They are specifically looking for someone who has previous experience of working with children with Autism. This Learning Support Assistant position will require you on a full time basis at least until the end of the academic year. The role will commence on the re-opening of schools.
This Ofsted 'Good' school caters for around 600 pupils and they pride themselves in being a happy harmonious community, in which all pupils are valued and learn well. They have a large and diverse multicultural community of staff, pupils, parent and carers who work together. The school has well-planned, balanced curricular and extra-curricular programs for pupils at all levels to ensure that they make good progress and enjoy learning.
To be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
*Have a NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or a university degree
*Have previous experience working with children in a school
*Have experience working with Special educational needs
