Reeson Education are seeking a SEN experienced Teaching Assistant for a fantastic SEN School in East Ham. The school is looking to fill a full time long term cover position starting as from January on an on-going basis and then for the right candidate, on to a permanent contract with the School.
The school is an independent specialist day school for children aged between 4 to 18 years with numerous special needs including: SLD, MLD, SLCN, ASD and associated challenging behaviour.
The school is looking for someone who is able to multitask and has a sound knowledge of SEN through working in either mainstream or SEN Schools. You must be a creative thinker, able to break down barriers for children with learning difficulties and Autism. Sometimes children display challenging behaviour so you must be willing to implement strategies for positive behaviours within class. Classes are staffed with 1 teacher and 2 TA's and usually around 6 pupils.
Students have personalised and tailored learning journeys to ensure maximum individual pupil progress. You will be joining a massively positive and friendly team and SLT team who are always approachable to students, parents and staff.
