SEN TA - Supply and Long Term
Reeson Education are currently looking to appoint SEN TA - Supply and Long Term, flexible, patient, skilled and creative SEN Teaching Assistants who are interested in being part of our supply bank. While experience and a good understanding of students with special needs is appreciated, above all we would like to recruit staff who are prepared and be able to put the student at the heart of all their best efforts and can develop good relationships not only with the students but also the parent's and other school's within the North West London Area (Brent).
If you are:
- Calm, resilient, tactful, unflappable and be able to manage unpredictable behaviours.
- Happy to work as part of a team committed to 'creative and solution' focussed approaches to pupil care.
- Excellent communicators, have the ability and confidence to support a young person in making good decisions.
- Have experience caring or working with young people who present challenging behaviour.
Being on the supply bank gives you flexibility, you can tell us when you are available and when you're not. The only the thing we ask is that you commit to at least two days per week, if you are able to commit to five days that would be great.
Cover is arranged on the Friday for the following week. We also use supply staff to cover staff unplanned staff absence, so we will sometimes call staff 7:00am to see if they are available that day.
