An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding, self-motivated class based SEN Teacher to work in an exceptional ASD/SLD School, delivering learning for pupils with Autism in KS3/4
The School:
The school is a new and well facilitated with lots of natural light. Plentiful resources are enjoyed by the teaching team. Classes are small and support staff are expertly skilled. Additional support is in place with generous PPA time, regular Speech and Language therapists, Music Teachers and even a Therapy dog! The vibe is happy and positive with teachers meeting for social gatherings about once a month. SLT are flexible and open to ideas. Teachers very much have autonomy within their class.
The School are looking for:
The successful Teacher will be experienced and energetic practitioners with the knowledge, skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management strategies to make a positive impact on the progress of pupils with Autism who have learning difficulties.
QTS/QTLS is preferable although overseas trained teachers with UK experience who are awaiting their QTS are encouraged to apply
