Reeson education are currently searching for SEN Teachers to work within an Outstanding SEN School specialising in Autism.

  • Ofsted rated Outstanding School
  • £140 - £240p/d
  • Term to Perm Scheme
  • Full Time
  • Small Classes

What will be your role within the classroom?

  • Liaising with parents
  • Teaching KS4
  • Marking and Planning Lessons
  • Form Tutor
  • Lead and Manage TA's
  • Managing children's behaviour

What does Autism mean?

Autism which is often abbreviated to ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) could mean that individuals may have trouble with the following: Anxiety, communication, social interaction, repetitive and restrictive behaviour, varied sensitivity to certain senses such as; light, sound, tase and touch. Children with Autism may rely on different ways to communicate this maybe through PECS and Makaton.

This Ofsted Outstanding school is well known within the local area and has a car park in order to accommodate those who drive. This school educates those between the ages of 3 - 19 and has approximately 300 students who have special needs such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and other complex needs. Our client school believes that it is essential that each pupil, is given an individual focus in order to create the best personalised pathway for each student.
