Are you a passionate and committed SEN Teacher looking for a fulfilling role within a supportive KS1 environment? We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to work with pupils following the P Scales curriculum, helping them develop core skills and achieve meaningful progress. This opportunity is based in a warm, inclusive primary school in South East London, offering a competitive daily rate of £165-£240 (depending on experience).
As an SEN Teacher, you will work with KS1 pupils who have a range of additional needs, tailoring learning experiences to meet individual abilities and developmental stages. You will plan and deliver personalised lessons aligned with the P Scales curriculum, focusing on communication, engagement, sensory development, early literacy, and functional numeracy skills. Responsibilities Include:
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons based on the P Scales curriculum
Leading a small KS1 class with a supportive team of teaching assistants
Using creative, multi-sensory approaches to encourage engagement and progress
Working closely with SENCOs, therapists, and external agencies
Maintaining clear records of pupil development and contributing to EHCP reviews
Creating a nurturing, structured, and positive classroom environment
