A school for children with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties requires a talented Teacher to join their team from September. The school is in a stones through away from Barking underground station and is an all age school with two sites for Primary and Secondary students. For this reason, the post requires a Specialist Teacher (must have QTS/QTLS or overseas equivalent) who is able to teach a creative and engaging curriculum to children with complex needs.

The post is taking a class of students with the primary diagnosis of Autism and students are Years 7 and 8. All students are verbal and working at around Key Stage 2 levels so someone with strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum. The role is hands on and requires a talented Teacher who is naturally caring, able to work as part of a team and has a can-do attitude. Responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons and sensory learning.
