The school works closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech & Language Therapists, to deliver a holistic, tailored curriculum designed to meet the individual needs of students with moderate learning difficulties.
SEN Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:
- Uphold the school's safeguarding and health & safety policies
- Provide personalised learning support to students
- Understand the impact of ASD on learning and implement strategies to overcome barriers
- Apply positive behaviour support techniques
- Assist in daily classroom activities and routines
