An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding, self-motivated class based SEN Teacher to work in an exceptional ASD/SLD School, delivering learning for pupils with Autism in Key Stage 4 mainly with some teaching in their Post 16 provision.
Consideration will be given to additional payment within a recruitment package for the right candidate e.g. relocation expenses. An opportunity also exists for additional responsibilities and may attract additional payment dependant on qualifications and experience.

The school, is a small but highly resourced centre in the heart of East London that has excellent staff retention and received an "Outstanding" grade from Ofsted earlier this year. The much celebrated result has come from the passion and hard work of the staff team who continuously strive for best practice! The superb working environment is one of collaboration and where all staff members are supported and encouraged to progress in their careers. Recently one of their teachers established a specialism in Speech and Language and supported by the School, completed a Master's Degree in this area. All teaching staff have the support of highly skilled and trained Teaching Assistants in their class.

The successful Teacher will be experienced and energetic practitioners with the knowledge, skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management strategies to make a positive impact on the progress of pupils with Autism who have learning difficulties.
QTS is preferable although overseas trained teachers with UK experience who are awaiting their QTS are encouraged to apply
