Primary SEN Teacher - Full-Time Role - September 2025 - Brixton Area (ASD Resource Base)
A specialist ASD resource base in the Brixton area is seeking a compassionate and capable Primary SEN Teacher to join their primary provision in September 2025. This long-term role is ideal for a Primary SEN Teacher who thrives in a structured and nurturing environment that caters to pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions.
The Primary SEN Teacher will teach a group of 10 students, supported by 4 Learning Support Assistants. These pupils require a calm, supportive approach, and the Primary SEN Teacher must be adept at creating tailored lesson plans to meet a wide range of developmental, sensory, and communication needs.
Key responsibilities for the Primary SEN Teacher include:
Designing engaging and accessible learning experiences adapted for each individual learner.
Supporting EHCP targets and collaborating with the SENCO and therapists.
Implementing sensory activities, visual supports, and structured routines to promote learning.
Leading a positive and inclusive classroom environment with a trauma-informed approach.
