The School:

The school, is a small but highly resourced centre in Waltham Forest (East London) that has excellent staff retention and received an "Outstanding" grade from Ofsted earlier this year. The much celebrated result has come from the passion and hard work of the staff team who continuously strive for best practice! The superb working environment is one of collaboration and where all staff members are supported and encouraged to progress in their careers. Recently one of their teachers established a specialism in Speech and Language and supported by the School, completed a Master's Degree in this area. All teaching staff have the support of highly skilled and trained Teaching Assistants in their class.

Lastly, the extensive resources on offer at this School must be mentioned; set in a purpose-built building in a pleasant residential area in Lewisham, this stimulating and colourful environment gives the greatest of sensory opportunities to pupils! Links have also been made with the community and local work places where students take part in vocational courses and activities. The Head Teacher would welcome a visit from perspective Teachers.
