Pay: £135 to £205 per day (dependent on experience)

Reeson Education is working with a warm and inclusive primary school in the M23 area, seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their specialist provision from September. This is a full-time, long-term SEN Teacher role with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful SEN Teacher will be based in the school's dedicated SEND unit, supporting a small group of primary-aged pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), ASD, and a range of other complex needs including non-verbal communication. The SEN Teacher will plan and deliver tailored lessons within a nurturing environment that supports pupil development across communication, emotional regulation, and learning outcomes.

The school is well-resourced and places a high value on inclusive education. You'll work as part of a supportive team, including speech and language specialists, teaching assistants, and the SENDCo. The SEN Teacher will play a vital role in shaping and delivering a curriculum designed to meet individual needs while encouraging independence and confidence.

The ideal SEN Teacher will have:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teacher within a primary or SEND setting

  • In-depth knowledge of SLCN and experience with non-verbal children

  • Confidence working with pupils with ASD and a range of additional needs

  • The ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • A positive, nurturing, and resilient attitude
